This hardcover flag book is made up of unique monotypes in watercolor and oil-based inks. 21 individual flags constructed from collaged elements are attached to a cloth-backed concertina structure. This book is hand bound, 1 of 1, and has a painted front and back cover. Made while in Verplanck New York at Kino Saito, and was printed at Robert Blackburn Printmaking workshop.

Maintainance and Care:

The is not a Digitally Printed or offset book. The pages are paintings, so be sure to keep them stored in a cool dry area of the home away from high humidity and direct contact with water. If you happen to need conservation support at any point in the future this book is constructed with reversible adhesives. So with proper care any issues can be repaired.

Be aware that this book was also made in a painterly manner, there are little stains from the making process but I do not consider them defects. They show the labor that has gone into this object and set it apart as an intuitive object, shifting manually over time.
